The OPEN Basketball Nation is a group of people from around the world who have made the choice to use basketball as a way to enjoy physical activity with friends, build a habit of perseverance, seek ways to help others, and cultivate a culture of gratitude.

Welcome to the OPEN Basketball Nation.                                 #OPENBasketballNation

The foundation of this movement is a student/player journal designed to help young people reflect on their actions and attitudes in a way that promote positive self-talk and a culture of gratitude. Nine guided reflections can be used by physical educators and coaches who understand that building culture through sport must be purposeful and planned. The student journal is based on the Believe in You video series produced to build a culture of self-confidence and a community of support within your school.
